Day 1. Thessaloniki

Day 2. Thessaloniki
Morning half day Thessaloniki city tour includes visit to Agia Sophia, Agios Dimitrios, Archaeological museum, Arch of Galerius and the White Tower.

Day 3. Thessaloniki-Mount Athos
Transfer to Chalkidiki port to embark your cruise. We will see 8 monasteries until the borders of Mount Athos. After cruise transfer back to Thessaloniki.

Day 4. Thessaloniki-Vergina-Pella
Drive to Vergina, the place of the Royal Tombs, where we see the King’s mausoleum and the famous museum with finds of the Tombs of King Philippos II, father of Alexander the Great. We continue to Pella native town of Alexander the Great. You will have the chance to see findings aged from 4th century BC.

Day 5. Meteora
Meteora is a geological miracle, which one should see for himself in order to believe. Nowadays, only six monasteries are well preserved and four of them are still inhabited. We shall visit 2 of these fabulous monasteries, built high upon the steep rocks. Each monastery owns a vast richness of frescoes and 5 icons. Afterwards, we will make our lunch break in Kalambaka. Our last stop will be in the Valley of Tempi, and then we return to the city of Thessaloniki.

Day 6. Thessaloniki
Day at leisure.

Day 7. Thessaloniki
